I found that, if you take a clip from Shin'ya Tsukamoto's 1989 film 'Tetsuo: The Iron Man" and slow it to about 1/3 the original speed and back it with some early 70's German experimental bands like "Can" or "Neu!" or "Faust", it usually turns out allright.
