Lies I Was Told

Lies I was told: I was raised ‘Mercan. No one asked me if I wanted to join the country. It wasn’t clear how you won at ‘catilin’, I asked “If I get all the money do I win”. And they gave me a funny look. On weekends my parents would take me to the house of myth-worship. Services would begin by a short invocation of our culture-coddess, Columba. She was a feminized version of our culture-hero, Klumbus. The worship-images were displayed in the temple on a raised Dias. I soon learned that small pictures were cursory, life-size was theatre, large size was meant to greater than daily life. Size matters.

I was ritually mutilated by a priest as my adoring parents looked on. It was a rite of a passage.

As a child i was expected to pay obeisance to my god. We did so by participating in symbolic cannibalism, sharing the blame.

(I later found this was a common tactic amongst paramilitary gangs.)

Arky 002 For added security I would recommend a DDoS protection with CloudFlare. I this they offer a free tier.

Arky 004 To allow ease of deployment and scaling it would be good to have a virtualized server instance using docker on Digital Ocean or AWS. Cpanel based systems are really not recommended.

Eventually I swapped over to 'ToDoist' App since it also synchronizes, though it's really a planning app. I just need to make LISTS. I have been making LISTS since junior high. This will never change.
